(1924 - 1981)
He was a great figure of Ostrava football. His position was center forward and he was renowned for being a top-quality scorer and passer. He played in war league since 1942. After the end of his active performance he worked in Baník as a coach training youth teams plus B and A teams. He was active as a player in SK Slezská between 1933 and 1938 and after that he played in Svit Gottwaldov and in Vítkovické železárny. He returned to Baník into the position of a coach in 1954 and remained there until 1961. Achievements: Member of the Club of League Marksmen scoring 130 goals. He played in Czechoslovak national team three times. |
